WHAT MAKES ME SPECIAL
Handcrafted by artisans in Jaipur, the ancient craft of Jaipur Blue Pottery making, originally from Persia, rose to international fame from the late 19th century and flourished until the 1950s. The old tradition had all but died out but was thankfully revived and is now a celebrated and sustained craft industry in Jaipur and nearby Sanganer. Made of stone quartz as opposed to clay, the unique ceramic doesn't develop the cracks does clay pottery does and is coloured in the archetypal Jaipur blue colours. Left plain, or delicately hand painted with animal, traditional or contemporary designs, each one is unique. So, every doorknob is it's own individual handcrafted work of art and will, in turn, add a soulful touch to your modern home.
